Job summary

The Primrose School at Moorefield Station located in Ashburn, VA, is seeking an Assistant Preschool Director to lead a nurturing environment for children and families. In this role, you will help create a culture of support and commit to health and safety while managing school operations in the Director's absence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study.
• Two years' experience in a supervisory role in a licensed preschool or childcare facility.
• Teaching experience in a licensed preschool preferred.

• Manage operations in the Director’s absence.
• Assist the Director in maximizing enrollment and effective cost control.

Responsibilities

• Creating a culture of support within the school for staff, families and children
• Cultivating an environment committed to health and safety
• Learning all essential functions for each position in the school so you can support and inspire
• Managing operation of the school in the Director’s absence
• Assisting the Director in ensuring maximum enrollment and effective cost control

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study
• Two years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a licensed preschool or childcare facility
• Teaching experience in a licensed preschool is preferred but not required.
