Position Description:
Support the lead teacher by aiding in classroom management, implementing lessons, and providing child care, all while creating a safe and engaging learning atmosphere for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Classroom Support:
   • Assist the lead teacher in executing lesson plans and activities.
   • Help maintain a clean, organized, and secure classroom environment.
   • Supervise children during free play, structured activities, and transitions.
   • Prepare and serve snacks and lunches.
   • Assist in getting children ready for nap time and supervise them during this period.
2. Child Care:
   • Offer individual attention and support to children as needed.
   • Monitor children’s behavior and inform the teacher of any concerns.
   • Foster positive interactions and social skills among the children.
3. Other Duties:
   • Participate in parent-teacher conferences as required.
   • Attend staff meetings and engage in professional development opportunities.
   • Aid in preparing materials and setting up the classroom.
   • Adhere to school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
An Associates or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood
2+ years in childcare
