Job summary

Nogales Unified School District #1 is seeking an Assistant Pom Coach to design and oversee pompon activities in alignment with district rules. The role includes supervising volunteers and students, modeling professional conduct, and coordinating with schools as needed.

The position is part-time and reports to the principal. A valid AZ teaching/substitute certificate and IVP clearance are required before employment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• AZ ADE Substitute Certificate or valid substitute certification is required.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card/Background Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement junior varsity and program activities in accordance with applicable rules.
• Oversee volunteers and supervise student participants during all aspects of the program.
• Serve as a positive role model and liaise with other schools within or outside the district.

The job ofCOACH- was established for the purpose/s of designing and implementing various activities related to this sport in accordance with applicable rules and regulations related to the student activity; overseeingvolunteers; providing supervision of student participants during all aspects of the program; using sound instructional techniques in overseeing thestudents' activities; serving as a positive role model to student participants; and may serve in a liaison capacity for the school andthis program with other schools both within and/or outside the district. Individuals in this job classification are assigned to a position at theschool level.
