NiSource Inc. is looking for an Assistant PM Major Projects to support capital and construction projects. This role focuses on planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring project objectives are met in safety, cost, and quality.
The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, assist in defining project scope, and communicate updates effectively. A Bachelor's degree and relevant project management experience are required.
Salary range is between $82,200 and $123,200 annually, and authorized work in the US is necessary.
The Assistant PM Major Projects- Generation Construction supports the planning, coordination, and execution of capital and construction projects by applying foundational project management principles under the guidance of a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. This role assists across the full project life cycle—including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, transition to operations, and closeout—while developing project management capabilities and ensuring project objectives related to safety, cost, schedule, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction are achieved.
The Assistant Project Manager collaborates with engineering, construction, project controls, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support safe, reliable, and costeffective project delivery in accordance with industry best practices, NIPSCO Organizational Process Assets, and Project Management Guidelines and Standards.
