Description

Prinsco has added a new position and has an opportunity for an Assistant Plant Manager in our Valdosta, GA location. This role will be leading production activities, including:

  • Lead and Develop Teams: Ensure the right people are in the right roles, providing coaching, performance management, and fostering accountability and growth.

  • Oversee Production Operations: Manage daily production activities, supervisors, and schedules to meet sales orders, inventory needs, and delivery deadlines.

  • Drive Safety and Compliance: Serve as a safety role model by enforcing safety standards, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Improve Quality and Efficiency: Collaborate across departments to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor Performance Metrics: Track KPIs, report progress to the Plant Manager, and align production with business goals and customer expectations.

Qualifications
  • Qualifications & Expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of 10 years in production supervision experience required.

  • Strong background in modern manufacturing practices, with emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
