Job summary

Industrial Resource Group in Bolingbrook, IL seeks an Assistant Plant Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, coordinate production schedules, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced facility.

You will lead production and sanitation teams, partner with quality and maintenance, ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, GMP and HACCP, and implement lean initiatives to reduce waste and costs while sustaining safety and product quality.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing daily production activities in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven track record in driving lean improvements to cut waste and costs.
• Strong familiarity with OSHA, GMP, HACCP, FDA/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules on time and efficiently.
• Supervise Production and Sanitation Supervisors and provide coaching and development.
• Collaborate with Quality to ensure products meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement lean initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Maintain production records, generate performance reports, and support audits.
