Job summary

Faurecia is seeking a Finance professional in Michigan to reinforce the accounting and controlling functions at the site. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with group finance procedures and delivering reliable financial information for forecasting and decision making.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with SAP and advanced Excel skills, and demonstrates strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum education level: Bachelor's degree (US/Canada) in Finance.
• Experience: 3 years of accounting experience; Assistant Controller is a plus.
• Manufacturing experience desirable; automotive experience is a plus.
• SAP experience and advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Strong team player with good presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all financial procedures compliance.
• Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization.
• Ensure site activities comply with Faurecia finance procedures (product flow, inventory, routings).
• Provide reliable financial / controlling information.
• Participate in forecasting processes (budget, monthly forecast).
• Manage data consolidation reporting ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and timeliness.
• Ensure reliability of standard costing.
• Contribute to controlling analysis including variance analysis/standard costs, margins, and plant budget control.
• Collaborate with Shared Service Center providing proper finance information.
• Contribute to provide the economic justification of investments, follow up, and optimize cash aspect.
• Assist Controller with month end closing process and month end reporting.
• Participate in profitability and cash improvement actions (capex, inventories and overdues).
• Commitment to highest ethical standards and Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.

• Experience: 3 years of accounting experience, Assistant Controller experience a plus
