Assistant-Physical Therapist (Arnett Hospital/Lafayette Full-time)

Join to apply for the Assistant-Physical Therapist (Arnett Hospital/Lafayette Full-time) role at Indiana University Health.

Overview

Position schedule is Monday through Friday plus 1 weekend day/month.

Physical therapist assistants provide direct patient care and selected physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist. PTA's assist in the clinical education of physical therapy students and supervise physical therapist assistant students, as well as support personnel. They participate in activities supporting patient care, education, and department operations.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant education program, or, if foreign-trained, graduation from an equivalent program accepted by Indiana PLA. Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Indiana and Basic Life Support certification through AHA are also required.
