Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
  2. Possess enthusiasm for sales and customer service.
  3. Train and hire new parts counter personnel.
  4. Create and improve processes as needed.
  5. Communicate professionally with staff and customers.
  6. Manage parts lookup and customer inquiries efficiently.
  7. Read and interpret parts catalogs accurately.
  8. Provide price quotes and information over the phone.
  9. Review body shop estimates and verify parts and pricing.
  10. Deliver high-level service to internal and external customers.
  11. Manage stock orders and maintain inventory accuracy.
  12. Report out-of-stock parts and expedite orders.
  13. Ensure all internal parts requests are billed correctly.
  14. Handle payments and credit authorizations as needed.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Ford parts counter position.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; prior auto parts sales experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Ability to read safety and maintenance documents.
  • Ability to perform calculations including discounts, interest, and proportions.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
