Job description

The Haslam College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Marketing at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct high-quality, impactful research, teach three courses per year at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, and contribute to departmental and college service as needed.We are particularly interested in candidates whose research is sales-focused, though we will also strongly consider applicants working in other areas within the marketing strategy domain. For applicants at the Associate Professor level, strong preference will be given to those who demonstrate the ability and interest to teach in, or develop programming for, our Graduate and Executive Education (GEE) programs. These include programs such as the MS in Marketing, Executive MBA in Healthcare or Strategic Leadership, the Physicians Executive MBA, and the Aerospace and Defense MBA. For applicants at the Assistant Professor level, preference will be given to those who express a willingness to engage in GEE programming following their tenure decision.The position start date is August 1, 2026 or until filled.

Applicants must hold a PhD (or must earn a PhD prior to the position start date) in marketing or a directly related field, with a demonstrated ability or potential to conduct high-quality research publishable in the discipline?s premier journals. In addition, applicants must have the ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Reference letters or reference contact information must be uploaded to Interfolio as an ?Other? document.
