The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases is looking for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine. This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

The successful applicant will be provided with a competitive salary and benefits, and the final faculty rank/title will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications.

Essential Functions
  • Contributing to the clinical/patient care, research and teaching missions of the division.
  • Clinical/patient care responsibilities will include both transplant and general infectious disease consultations.
  • Encompass an active role in departmental fellowship programs, resident and medical student teaching.
  • Teaching duties will include precepting of fellows, medical students and/or residents in your office-based practice.
  • Provide lectures or lead small group discussions as part of the COM or residency curriculum, clinical case conferences, core curricula and journal clubs.
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases as defined by ACGME.
  • Completed 3-year Internal Medicine residency and completed 2-year Infectious Disease fellowship training.
  • Current Ohio medical license.
