Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University invites applicants for a Assistant or Associate Professor of Church History and Missiology to begin as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and the formation of students for ministry within and beyond the church. Teaching responsibilities include core and elective courses in history and missiology, primarily at the graduate level (on-ground and online) but also at the undergraduate level and in the prison education program. Commitment to Christian faith and participation in the life of the church are marks of Palmer’s faculty. Candidates that are members of, or ordained in, the United Methodist Church with a strong record of ecclesial activity are especially encouraged to apply.
