Idaho State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Nuclear Engineering Department. The department offers Nuclear Engineering degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. levels. Courses are available on the Pocatello and Idaho Falls campuses and online via the University LMS. Some courses are offered in the early evening to accommodate Idaho National Laboratory employees. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship at this time.
The Nuclear Engineering Department seeks candidates with capabilities and experience in various Nuclear Engineering fields. Candidates with nuclear-oriented digital twin, machine learning, or artificial intelligence experience are especially sought.
You must submit your CV/resume, a cover letter, a statement regarding teaching and research development, and a list of three professional references with current contact information. This position will remain open until filled. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
