The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder is hiring a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Marketing for Fall 2027. We seek candidates with strong empirical quantitative methods, with a particular interest in marketing applications of AI and ML.

Responsibilities include research—publishing in leading journals, teaching three courses annually, and service to the division, school, and profession.

Job Summary

The Leeds School of Business at the University of ColoradoBoulder is hiring one tenure-track, Assistant or AssociateProfessor position in Marketing for Fall 2027. We are seekingcandidates at the advanced assistant professor or early-stageassociate professor level (i.e., without tenure or with tenurerecently granted). We are primarily seeking a researcher withexpertise in empirical quantitative methods. While not required, wehave a particular interest in candidates with research expertise inmarketing applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and machinelearning (ML). Candidates with research expertise in allsubstantive areas of marketing will be considered.

What We Can Offer

The approved line for this position is for an Assistant orAssociate Professor, with the following salary ranges:

  • Assistant Professor: $205,000–$233,000
  • Associate Professor : $235,000–$255,000
  • Additional benefits include allowances for relocation expenses,a FDA (faculty discretionary account) and guaranteed summerresearch support.

  • Hold a PhD from an accredited institution in Marketing or arelated field.
  • Have demonstrated superior accomplishments in their currentappointments, including scholarly research, teaching ability, andeffective interaction with faculty colleagues, students andexternal constituents.
  • Have an established and growing record of research productivityand professional visibility, with a clear trajectory towardcontinued impact in the field.
  • Demonstrate a substantially quantitative, empirical modelingresearch orientation to study marketing phenomena, using methodsdrawn from the fields of economics, statistics +/or computerscience.
