Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking an hourly production operator in Ohio to assist with operating production machines, including setup, operation, cleanup, quality checks and improvements. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday with overtime and some weekends, offering growth opportunities within a state-of-the-art facility.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment; around 6 months of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• 6 consecutive months of manufacturing operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist operation of machinery at maximum capacity and speed; improve setup times and downtime.
• Work at a fast pace to meet production schedule.
• Learn operation of the machine, downtime, setup times and product quality.
• Complete reports accurately and timely.
• Assist in setup slotting, feeding, and die cut sections on the machine.
• Monitor board quality and make adjustments when needed.
• Be willing to move up the line and cross-train on other machines.
• Comply with company policies including safety and housekeeping.
