Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a production team member in Ohio to support fulfillment and pack-out activities for the Company and Converting Department projects. Base pay is $18.15 per hour, with shift differential.

Responsibilities include following supervisor instructions, keeping areas clean, and maximizing piece-rate speed while cross-training as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and may prefer candidates with corrugated or fulfillment experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Prior work experience in a fulfillment operation preferred.

• Read and follow instructions as provided by the supervisor.
• Work together with crew/team in production projects.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Maximize piece-rate speed on tasks assigned.
• Cross-train for other job positions as necessary.
• Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.
• Turn in equipment work orders to supervision for needed repairs; be proactive in equipment maintenance.
• Switch duties with First Helper as necessary.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and housekeeping.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required
• Candidates are preferred who offer the following:
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.
• Prior work experience in a fulfillment operation.

Language Skills
Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
