Job description

The Assistant Operations Manager will be a part of our airport leadership team, reporting to the General Manager and leading the daily floor operations at your station. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a hands-on coach for security, customer service, and sales.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Spend 80% of time on the floor in a customer-facing environment at the airport.
  2. Ensure CLEAR and TSA policies and procedures are conducted with the highest levels of security and integrity.
  3. Monitor and drive security, service, and sales on each shift.
  4. Manage shift briefings, debriefs, huddles, and handle changes, breaks, and rotations. Coach, mentor, and train the team to meet sales and customer service goals and standards.
  5. Oversee asset control and devices; understand how our technology works and troubleshoot when necessary.
  6. Represent CLEAR throughout the airport, TSA, and airline community by building strong stakeholder relationships.
  7. Manage incident prevention and responses.
  8. Attend station management team meetings.
Ideal candidates will have:
  1. 1-2 years of leadership experience in a customer-facing operation (retail, restaurants, hospitality, rental cars).
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
  3. Ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment.
  4. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  5. Proficiency in using technology daily.
  6. Ability to successfully complete a government background investigation.
  7. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  8. Ability to follow policies and procedures set by CLEAR, airport, state, and federal regulations.
  9. Availability to work non-traditional schedules, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings.
