Job Description:

Pitney Bowes is now hiring for an Assistant Operations Manager in our Arlington, TX presort facility!

3rd Shift:

Tuesday - Saturday, 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM

Salary range: $70,000 - $72,000 annual salary + 10% field bonus.

This role offers a flexible work schedule with no set amount of vacation per year.

You Are:

A performance-driven individual committed to providing innovative service to clients, approachable, and relationship-oriented, contributing to Pitney Bowes' success.

You Will:

  • Monitor production schedules and capacity to determine requirements related to equipment and personnel, maintaining cost and quality standards.
  • Adjust sort schemes in response to USPS changes or to improve efficiency.
  • Measure key performance indicators and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure accurate USPS and internal reports, job costing, and compliance with USPS regulations.
  • Develop and maintain USPS-PSI relationships.
  • Understand and communicate USPS regulation changes and new technology initiatives.
  • Analyze mail volumes and postage trends to optimize costs and discounts.
  • Ensure secure, safe, and reliable transportation of mail, optimizing efficiency and service quality.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Your Background:

As an Assistant Operations Manager, you have:

  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in a production environment, preferably mailing industry.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience in an operating center handling 5 million+ pieces weekly in a 24-hour cycle.
  • Ability to interpret USPS regulations and prepare reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical reporting.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and problem-solving.
