Job Goal: To ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations of New Bedford High School by supporting the coordination of facilities, safety, logistics, and operational systems in a way that maximizes instructional time, supports staff effectiveness, and promotes a welcoming, well‑organized learning environment for all students.

Performance Responsibilities
  • Assessment
    • Oversee Assessment Calendar & Execution of Testing
    • Ensures that the assessment calendar is followed for PSATs, MCAS, MCAS retakes, and ACCESS testing
    • Coordinates and executes all mandated components of state testing
    • Analyzes data and provides reports to the Manager of Operations & Principal
  • Operations
    • Assist with management of the grading calendar: progress reports, report cards, and grade verifications
    • Assist with systems for onboarding new staff members as it relates to room keys, technology needs, ASPEN, etc.
    • Assist with systems for room and school usage requests (school‑based and community requests)
    • Assist with food service department needs
    • Assist with supply requests
    • Assist with school construction – improvement projects
    • Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Operations or Principal

    • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
    • Experience in a school setting

  • Terms:
    • Non‑Union, 12‑month/full year position
    • Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
    • PHYSICAL DEMANDS (Special requirements such as lifting heavy objects and frequent climbing): Frequent fine motor use such as typing and filing. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, as needed. May lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs. Travel between school locations throughout the workday as needed.
    • SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Frequent overtime or night work required, etc.): May need to attend after school hours training, events and/or meetings on occasion and as scheduled.
    • OVERTIME ELIGIBLE: No
    • REPORTS TO: Principal or designee
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
