Job description

We are excited to announce that DUFC is currently looking for an Assistant Operations Manager for the upcoming spring season! This role offers a great opportunity for someone eager to learn and eventually take over the full Operations Manager position this summer.

Job Overview: The DUFC Operations Manager (OPS Manager) plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the club. This role is responsible for managing communications with parents, coordinating schedules, overseeing event logistics, and assisting with various administrative tasks related to team management, registration, and club events. The OPS Manager will serve as a point of contact for parents and team managers, and will work closely with the club's board and Director of Coaching (DOC) to support all aspects of the club's operations.

  • The Assistant Operations Manager will work closely with the current Operations Manager to learn the role and responsibilities.
  • Time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule and potential for additional hours if desired.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Google Forms.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with parents, team managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in scheduling and event management.
