Position Summary

Children's Aid runs a summer day camp in Chappaqua, NY, bringing together children from Manhattan, the Bronx, and Westchester. Campers and staff are bused daily. The camp offers traditional activities like swimming, arts & crafts, sports, and horsemanship, focusing on relationship building. Attendees are from diverse socio-economic, cultural, and racial backgrounds, aged 6-13.

Hourly Rate: $17.75 - $18.75

Responsibilities
  • Manage attendance and food count systems for the NYS Summer Food Service Program.
  • Collect morning attendance records and accurately report meal counts.
  • Assist with overall camp operations as needed.
  • Enforce policies related to meal documentation.
  • Attend 3 days of training before camp starts.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and data entry skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with staff and interact positively with children.
