Assistant Office Manager

We are a high-end, state-of-the-art, boutique-style Orthodontic Office that is looking for an Assistant Office Manager for a long-term opportunity in a fun, growing office.

We are looking for someone who is a reliable, highly motivated, friendly, take-charge individual who can multitask in a quality 5-star patient-focused practice. The person needs to have an excellent attitude, excellent communication skills, friendliness, and sales skills.

Our ideal candidate has experience as an orthodontic dental assistant, presenting treatment plans and fees, scheduling appointments, answering phones, checking insurance eligibility, filing claims, collecting payments, and managing social media accounts.

This is the right opportunity for you if you love to interact with patients, participate in community events, engage on social media, all the while partnering with our Doctor to grow the boutique-style practice. This career opportunity offers room for growth.

Practice size is 1 orthodontist, 3 chairs.

The position is 40 hours per week (1 Saturday per month).

M-F 8:45am-6pm; one Saturday per month: 8:45am-3pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28-$35/HR, quarterly bonus opportunities

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and improve office efficiency by assisting with patient chart audits to ensure proper documentation and consistency with patients’ treatment plans.
  • Effectively engage in teamwork and communication skills in an exciting, engaging, and fast-paced atmosphere while working under the direction of our office manager.
  • Exhibit adaptability and dependability while coordinating scheduling, payments, and insurance verification for the best patients around.
  • Bring a great attitude to our office that will allow you to connect and form valuable relationships with our team and patients alike.
  • Practice flexibility, filling in for the office manager when needed.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 4 years of related experience.
  • Experience managing in dental or another fast-paced, highly interactive customer service atmosphere.
  • Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, and ability to learn new programs.
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or other insurance preferred.
