Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH seeks an Associate OB-GYN Residency Program Director for our ACGME accredited, joint residency with The Ohio State University. The role directs the integrated OBGYN residency, oversees didactic and clinical education, and aligns program activities with ACGME requirements to advance resident training and patient care.

The ideal candidate has substantial GME leadership experience, board-certified in OBGYN with Ohio licensure, and a passion for mentoring

Qualifications

Substantial knowledge of and experience in graduate medical education in an ACGME accredited teaching hospital and OBGYN program.
Ability to communicate effectively with resident physicians, teaching faculty, hospital administration and associates of the Mount Carmel Health System.
A passion for leadership development and mentoring residents.
Full and unrestricted license from the Ohio State Medical Board with current OBGYN Board-Certification.

Responsibilities

Organizes, coordinates and supervises aspects of the integrated OBGYN Residency Program at Mount Carmel in accordance with ACGME Requirements.
Remains current with clinical developments and practice in OBGYN.
Actively participates in professional activities related to resident training, both clinical and educational.
Provides leadership and supervises OBGYN residents in didactic and clinical educational activities.
