Qualifications

• Substantial knowledge of graduate medical education in an ACGME-accredited teaching hospital and OBGYN program.
• Ability to communicate effectively with resident physicians, faculty, hospital administration and Mount Carmel Health System associates.
• A passion for leadership development and mentoring residents.
• Full and unrestricted license to practice in Ohio with current OBGYN board certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach residents, medical students, and midwives including daily rounds and review of plan of care for clinic patients and consults.
• Provide medical/clinical leadership for MCHS OB/GYN clinics and inpatient services, ensuring care meets standards.
• Attend deliveries, consults and surgeries as attending physician when assigned or covering for residents.
• Collaborate with The Ohio State University residency program and Mount Carmel affiliates to support a robust GME experience.
