Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center, part of the Palm Beach Health Network in Florida, seeks an innovative healthcare leader to drive excellence in patient outcomes and operational success. The Assistant Nurse Manager coordinates clinical activities, supervises staff, and supports house supervision duties within the nursing department.

Qualified candidates are licensed RNs in Florida, with a BSN preferred and current BLS/CPR; ACLS and EKg certification are also required.

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart or equivalent).
• ACLS certification (American Heart or equivalent).
• Successful completion of Basic EKG course.

Job Summary

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the Department and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all department staff members. She/he assumes house supervision duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications
Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida
BSN preferred
BLS/CPR certification (American Heart or equivalent)
ACLS certification (American Heart or equivalent)
Successful completion of Basic EKG course
Certifications specific to areas of expertise.

Minimum Experience
2-3 years RN experience in clinical area
