Position Overview: The Assistant Nursing Manager (ANM) coordinates patient care within a specialty, aligning with departmental objectives. The ANM has authority to make decisions necessary for effective nursing care activities, including performance and counseling of staff. They assume responsibility for educational and in-service programs, act as a coach and mentor, and ensure staff competence and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The ANM plans and implements nursing policies and procedures in collaboration with the Director, using experience and judgment to meet objectives. They support activities aligned with Hilton Head Regional Health Care's policies, philosophy, goals, and mission.

Responsibilities: Every team member is responsible for delivering a remarkable patient experience, fostering teamwork, engagement, and community involvement. They must promote diversity and inclusion, and maintain a safe environment based on "First Do No Harm" principles.

Education Requirements:

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license or multistate license from another Compact State, compliant with the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated Charge Nurse or supervisory experience.

Additional Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• Unrestricted South Carolina State Board of Nursing license or multi-state license from a Compact State.
• Current CPI certification preferred or must be completed within 6 months of hire or transfer.
