Goddard House in Brookline, MA is seeking an Assistant Resident Care Director (Nurse Manager, LPN, RN) to lead our resident care team. You will collaborate with the Resident Care Director to develop a comprehensive care program for seniors, including Alzheimer's and dementia care residents, while coaching CNAs and HHAs and coordinating with families and providers.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN or RN license in Massachusetts, bring senior living experience, and demonstrate strong leadership,

What will you be doing

The Nurse Manager supports with the management, review, and development of a comprehensive care program for all residents of the community, including traditional Assisted Living residents as well as those in our specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia care neighborhood. The Nurse Manager works directly with the Resident Care Director to provide training and support of our team of caregivers (CNAs and HHAs), and serves as a liaison with family members, community agencies, physicians and care providers. This position is a great role for someone looking to hone leadership skills.

This position requires an LPN or RN who is a graduate of an approved nursing program with valid Massachusetts nursing license or otherwise meets the requirements of Assisted Living regulations, or equivalent. Experience in a senior community environment and a means of transportation to complete assessments for new and returning residents is a MUST!
