The ideal candidate holds a BSN and Georgia RN licensure (multi-state via eNLC may apply), with a minimum of two years in healthcare and BLS/PALS/PEARS certifications as required by the department.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ healthcare experience required.
  • BSN degree required; RN licensure in GA (or multi-state via eNLC) preferred.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
  • PALS/PEARS within 1 year as required by department specifications.
  • Professional nursing certification required within one year of hire.

  • Supports environment for delivery of care and acts as clinical resource for patient population in area.
  • Maintains competence to provide and assist with clinical care.
  • Participates in educational process and maintains own professional development.
  • Fosters professional development of others through feedback, input, and coaching.
  • Supports nursing career advancement program (My Nursing Career Path).
  • Leads and participates in shared leadership councils; fosters collaboration with teams and medical staff.
  • Drives admission, transfer, discharge processes with physicians and inter-professional teams; assists with budget, productivity, and resource utilization.

Experience

Minimum 2 years’ healthcare experience required

Preferred Qualifications 1 year of Clinical Nurse 3-5 level or management/administrative experience in a healthcare setting

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Certification Summary

Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) within 1 year of employment as required by department specifications

Professional Nursing Certification deemed by department required upon one year of hire
