Job summary

CoxHealth in Missouri seeks an experienced registered nurse for the Surgical department in Springfield. You will utilize the nursing process to assess needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes. You will lead the patient care team toward achieving patient-centered goals.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Missouri RN license, and at least five years of clinical experience with charge nurse exposure. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Job Description:

Utilizes the nursing process to effectively assess the needs of patients, identify a plan of care, and implement and evaluate the care given. Provides direct and indirect care to patients and leads the patient care team toward goal achievement in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. Leads employees to accomplish all job objectives; inspires confidence and motivation to enhance employee satisfaction.

Education

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Preferred: At least five years of clinical experience, one year of charge nurse experience, and one year experience in the area of specialization
