Come join us as a leader on the Rapid Response Team. The Rapid Response Team is comprised of dedicated critical care nurses who round daily on patients and use their nursing skills to identify patients who are decompensating, deliver prompt bedside evaluation and early intervention thereby significantly decreasing hospital length of stay, reduce ICU transfers, cardiac arrests, and inpatient mortality. The RRT is the process driver for all codes blues outside the ICU, code strokes, code SEPSIS, and after hours STEMIs. They respond to all clinical emergencies for patients, visitors, and employees and serve as a resource for UTSW nurses. They work closely with providers to ensure timely critical interventions making a difference in patient outcomes every day.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
Required a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
NIHSS also required.
