Providence Crisis Recovery Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to lead clinical and operational activities on assigned shifts. The ANM is a Registered Nurse who supports the unit director in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services, while providing managerial presence across shifts.

Required: Alaska RN license and BSN, current BLS. Preferred: acute care experience, leadership roles and Shared Governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and BSN; Alaska RN license upon hire.
• Alaska RN License required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial presence across shifts and support the unit director in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating services.

Description

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse reporting to the unit director/manager who utilizes the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within assigned shift. The ANM is responsible for supporting the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit and providing managerial presence for all shifts.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and Graduate from School of Nursing (BS or BSN). Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1, 2024 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree, but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment.

• Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

• Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital.

• Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.

• Leadership experience.

• Shared Governance experience.
