The role you’ll contribute:

The Assistant Nurse Manager supervises and coordinates patient care on the assigned nursing units, ensuring standards are met. They support the unit by planning, directing, and evaluating all nursing services to deliver optimal patient care and organizational effectiveness.

The Assistant Nurse Manager conducts concurrent chart audits to ensure complete and accurate documentation within the EMR, correcting errors promptly. They coordinate staff educational needs.

They achieve operational goals by contributing to strategic planning, preparing action plans, implementing standards for production, quality, and customer service, resolving issues, conducting audits, identifying trends, and implementing improvements.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience needed:

• Minimum of one-year hospital acute care RN experience and one year of leadership experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• BSN preferred
• Current Florida RN license
