Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved nursing program and licensed to practice in the US.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in a US state/DC.
- State licensing and professional development aligned with VA standards.
- Bridge program options may allow RN licensure before graduation.
Responsibilities
- Provides supervision and evaluation of staff with orientation and training.
- Directs 24/7 operations and leadership for designated units.
- Ensures compliance with VA Handbooks and regulatory standards.
- Manages department resources within budget and staffing needs.
- Promotes staff development and participates in performance improvement.
