• AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a licensed 193-bed acute care hospital, coupled with outpatient services including imaging, rehab, lab, and wound care, serving the community for over 50 years.

• Located in Davenport, FL, near attractions like Busch Gardens, Legoland, and Walt Disney World, but outside the central tourism hub.

The role you’ll contribute:

The ANM is a registered professional nurse supporting the Nurse Manager or Director in the overall operations of their assigned unit. Demonstrates critical thinking, creativity, resource management, and leadership in delivering quality patient care, fostering employee relations, and ensuring compliance with hospital guidelines. Supports change initiatives and actively participates in delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining respectful relationships.

• Mentors and coaches staff, developing preceptors and ensuring competency in care delivery.
• Supports performance improvement activities through problem-solving, data collection, change implementation, and outcome evaluation.
• Assists in planning, organizing, and leading the unit using critical thinking skills.
• Understands the impact of reimbursement policies, including Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and legislative initiatives.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Relevant experience as specified by the unit’s competencies
• Current valid State of Florida or multi-state RN license
• BLS certification
• Advanced Life Support certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) as required by the unit
