Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Room nurse to join our team in New Jersey. This role requires an RN license, a minimum of 3 years in emergency nursing, and current AHA BLS certification.

Candidates should be prepared to pursue BSN within three years and pursue Magnet-aligned certifications within two years. The ideal candidate demonstrates rapid learning, adaptability, accountability, teamwork, and a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required.
• Minimum 3 years recent Emergency nursing experience.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required.
• National Certification acceptable to the Magnet Recognition Program and appropriate to your current specialty (within two years of hire).
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required
