Keck Medicine of USC is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead nursing operations in collaboration with the Department Nurse Manager. You will guide daily care with budget-conscious HR decisions and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

This role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to patient safety and high-quality care across the unit. You will support patient and family services within an interdisciplinary team framework.

Competenze

• BSN required; active RN license in California.
• Minimum 3 years acute care nursing experience as a registered nurse.
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS and AB508 within 30 days, NIHSS within 30 days, NRP within 6 months, ENPC within 12 months; all active per hire/transfer dates.

The Assistant Nurse Manager, in collaboration with and under the direction of the Department Nurse Manager, is accountable for ongoing leadership and operations of the assigned area(s) and for nursing care safety and quality. The Assistant Nurse Manager uses sound human resource and budget principles to guide the daily provision of nursing services to patients and families. The Assistant Nurse Manager participates in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities and provides input on standard of care. The Assistant Nurse Manager supports comprehensive patient and family services through effective participation with the interdisciplinary team.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN). Minimum Experience: 3 years Acute care nursing experience as a registered nurse. Required Certifications: ED: BLS, ACLS, PALS, AB508 (within 30 days of hire), NIHSS (within 30 days of hire), NRP (within 6 months of hire), ENPC (within 12 months of hire) BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP must be AHA certified. All certifications must be active effective date of hire/transfer unless otherwise indicated. Preferred Education: Master's degree Nursing Master's Degree in Nursing or in progress, strongly preferred* Master's Degree in Nursing may be in lieu-of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
