Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an experienced nurse leader to coordinate and triage patient care across disciplines within the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. The role interfaces with the Nursing Director and multiple departments to ensure high-quality nursing care for patients and families.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Nursing (Master's preferred), be an RN with current licensure, and bring 3–5 years of clinical and 0–1 years supervisory experience.
When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.Inpatient Psychiatric Unit (Deaconess 4) is a 25 bed, locked unit serving the acute needs of a wide range of patients experiencing psychosis, suicidality, depression, etc. There is a comprehensive range of assessment, treatment and discharge planning processes for individuals with acute episodes of psychiatric illness who: a) pose a serious risk of harm to self or others, and/or b) are unable to care for themselves, and c) cannot be treated in a less restrictive environment. The unit is also able to serve those patients with comorbid medical illness because of the diverse skills of the staff and the availability of the resources of a major medical center. Electroconvulsive therapy is given within the medical center and can be part of the care of the behavioral health patient.
Provides leadership in the provision of nursing services to actively coordinate and triage patient care and clinical processes between all disciplines. Acts as a liaison between multiple departments. Supports the implementation and evaluation of quality nursing care to patients and families, under the direction of the Nursing Director.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's degree in Nursing preferred. License Registered Nurse required., and Certificate 1 Basic Life Support required.3-5 years related work experience required and 0-1 years supervisory/management experience required
Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Ability to lead and direct multiple collaborative teams for large projects or groups both internal and external to the Medical Center and across functional areas. Results have significant implications for the management and operations of the organization.
Ability to lead operational initiatives to meet or exceed customer service standards and expectations in assigned unit(s) and/or across multiple areas in a timely and respectful manner.

Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move through out the hospital campus
$150,000.00 USD - $220,000.00 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
