Job description

Pay Range: $15.75 - $19.95

Summary

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for the nighttime operation of the store in the absence of the Night Manager. Oversees clerks and ensures shelves are stocked and leveled properly to promote sales. Responsible for ordering and receiving Warehouse or DSD products and maintaining adequate inventory levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times, including smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customers.
  2. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
  3. Oversee the entire third shift store operation two to three nights a week, including shelf conditions, stock levels, product leveling, and signage.
  4. Assist in scheduling Night Crew Associates and oversee their performance, training, and discipline.
  5. Manage Front End and Office operations, including check approvals and nightly resets.
  6. Assist with merchandise and supplies ordering, ensuring timely transmission and proper merchandising standards.
  7. Store excess product appropriately and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines.
  8. Assist with hiring, training, and development of Night Crew Associates.
  9. Ensure refrigeration, security procedures, sanitation, and pricing policies are followed during third shift.
  10. Unload Warehouse and DSD deliveries.
  11. Evaluate staff performance and ensure productivity standards are met.
  12. Implement and maintain safety, sanitation, and inventory procedures to protect company assets and control shrinkage.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to manage others and follow through to achieve results.
Physical Requirements

Exposure to cold environments, constant standing and walking, grasping, bending, twisting, pivoting, squatting/kneeling, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally.
