Job summary

Diversity Inc. seeks an Assistant Service Chief for the Neurology Service to guide leadership, operations, and strategic direction for Veterans' care. You will oversee complex neurology programs, clinics, and staffing to ensure timely access to high‑quality care.

The role supports Centers of Excellence, mentors staff, and drives quality improvement with patient safety as a priority. VA experience is preferred; board certification is required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an approved school.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Board certification in Neurology (ABMS/AOA).
• Experience in graduate medical education and teaching residents.
• Administrative or leadership experience in a neurology service.

Responsibilities

• Assumes full service chief responsibilities in the absence of the Service Chief.
• Oversees Neurology operations, clinics, scheduling, and staffing.
• Supports Centers of Excellence and program development.
• Mentor and develop internal candidates; succession planning.
• Ensure quality, patient safety, and compliance with VA standards.
