Job summary

U-Haul Company in Rochester, MN is seeking an Assistant General Manager to take on day-to-day center operations and lead a friendly team. You will help customers, supervise staff, and learn through the U-Haul education program while ensuring a high quality of service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and leadership or customer service experience. The position offers an hourly wage with potential bonuses and growth opportunities.

• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record
• Leadership experience in any form
• Customer service experience
• Ability to work a variety of shifts

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

The work requires some physical exertion, such as, long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
