Job summary

Ardent Mills is seeking an Assistant Miller for a 3rd shift to run cleaning house operations and support the shift miller. You will ensure wheat and flour meet quality specs while upholding Food Safety Policies and GMPs.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, weekend/rotating shifts, PPE, and ability to work 24/7 with rotating schedule. Training in Milling Practices and Programs will be provided.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an industrial environment (milling, agricultural, food production, or equivalent).
  • Basic skills with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, with ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate cleaning house side of the mill and support the shift miller.
  • Follow sanitation and GMP policies; perform sanitation and IPM tasks.
  • Assist in mill repairs; monitor wheat blending schedules and specifications.

Assistant Miller - 3rd shiftYour role:As an Assistant Miller, you will be responsible for running the cleaning house side of the mill, supporting the shift miller, and ensuring all wheat and flour meets the required specifications while following all Food Safety Policies and GMPs, and completing sanitation and IPM tasks.
