Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an Assistant Mill Operator to support the Machine Operator II in a fast-paced production environment. Day and night shifts are available, and dependable, safety-focused candidates who can work independently are preferred.

The role involves operating basic equipment, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining sanitation and paperwork, with potential supervisory duties in the operator's absence.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production desirable.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation standards in assigned areas.
• Operate and maintain production equipment as needed.
• Load/unload tandem trucks at elevator and storage sites.
• Assist in training team members and learning Operator II duties.
• Monitor grain handling equipment and storage site bin levels.
• Bag sunflower products in 25–50 lb bags continuously.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Uphold personal and environmental safety standards.
• Communicate clearly across departments and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Operator II.
