Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group in Horseshoe Bay, TX is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Outlet Manager to help run our full‑service restaurant and coordinate events.

You will oversee daily operations, manage staffing, and ensure exceptional guest service while maintaining safety and cost controls. Strong leadership and hospitality knowledge are essential, with a focus on teamwork and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in food and beverage.
• Food Handler’s Certificate.
• TABC Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality-related college degree valued.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; Agilysys experience preferred.

Description

This position assists in managing our full-service food and beverage outlet on a daily basis and coordinating special events. Primary duties include ensuring each meal period runs smoothly, assisting wherever needed in the outlet; performing routine table checks; responding and adjusting staffing levels to occupancy changes; working to reduce payroll while increasing productivity; overseeing the supervisory staff as well as designated trainers and hourly associates; and supporting the training program and efforts of the staff.

General Duties:

• Supports and manages the hotel outlets while working closely with the Restaurant Manager, other Assistant Managers, and other hotel departments.
• Responsible for short and long term planning of outlet, including group accommodations and events, restaurant service, and supplies.
• Managing work schedules, training, hiring, and coaching/counseling Associates.
• Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results.
• Full understanding of Associate engagement.
• Ability to take the initiative to run the outlet as a free standing entity.

Required Certifications:

• Minimum age requirement – 18+ (21+ if driving licensed Resort vehicle
• Food Handler’s Certificate
• TABC Certificate
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet the requirements of driver insurability as established by the insurance carrier required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• College degree in a hospitality related industry, valued.
• Must have two years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
• This person in this position will have to have excellent communication skills; basic level of computer knowledge; proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel; experience with Agilysys preferred.
