Job summary

Veronica Beard is seeking an organized Assistant Merchant to support RTW Soft Wovens (Tops, Dresses, Skirts). You will work with the Senior Merchant to drive department goals and support the growth of Veronica Beard’s global RTW business.

Responsibilities include maintaining line sheets, updating reports, managing samples, and assisting with seasonal assortment and DTC buying during Market. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and retail KPI understanding are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years merchandising and/or buying experience.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive insights.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Solid financial acumen and understanding of retail math and KPIs.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to build and maintain reporting to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborative team player who can work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain line sheets and track style counts through development.
• Update weekly selling reports and analyze performance to highlight top sellers.
• Assist with samples organization and management pre-market, during market, and post-market.
• Partner with Creative teams to ensure samples are available for e-comm and marketing needs.
• Support photoshoots and showroom setup for market readiness and presentations.
• Help with seasonal assortment building and DTC buying during Market.
• Communicate updates to the line across cross-functional teams.
• Develop Product Knowledge Guides for Sales, E-comm, and Store teams.
