Job summary

Vuori, Inc. in Carlsbad, CA seeks a Men’s Layers Merchandiser to develop and execute the seasonal assortment and brand product strategy. You will help establish the Men’s Layers line and identify growth opportunities across E-comm, stores, wholesale, and international channels.

The role requires merchandising experience in performance apparel, alignment with Vuori’s mission, and embodiment of the brand’s values. Onsite five days a week in our Carlsbad HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience preferred.
• 1+ year of merchandising experience.
• Strong eye for trend-right product that aligns with the brand aesthetic.
• Must be organized, attentive to detail, and able to multi-task.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Understanding of retail math.
• Experience recapping business on a regular basis and presenting actionable insights to Sr. Leadership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to travel domestically when necessary.
• Candidates must live in the San Diego area.

Responsibilities

• Support developing comprehensive assortment strategies across E-comm, Store, Wholesale, and international channels to deliver high growth expectations.
• Aid in building seasonal & annual line plan for Men’s Layers.
• Help support partnership with planning team on seasonal investment strategy and monthly buy process.
• Support the merchandising strategy by pulling applicable historical and current data.
• Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape and impart key insights into line development.
• Help prepare reports on business results and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Create and manage all seasonal assortment tools for Layers.
• Conduct surveys and focus groups to gain a better understanding of Vuori Layers customers.
• Assist with key meeting preparation, including sample management and deck prep.
• Create strong partnerships among cross-functional teams.
• Create seasonal Product Knowledge info for stores and ecommerce merchandising teams.
• Act as cross departmental liaison, ensuring consistent communication throughout the organization.
• Support maintenance of Men’s divisional tools.

Job Description

We are seeking aMen’sAssistantof Layers to manage the developmentand executionof the seasonal assortment. This individual willbe responsible forexecuting the brand product strategy and helping toestablishtheMen’s Layers assortment,identifyingnew growth opportunities across all seasonal product classifications. To be effective in this role, the individual musthavemerchandisingexperience intheperformanceapparel space, Vuori’smission,and embody the brand’s values.

This role is onsite 5 days a week in our Carlsbad, CA HQ

What you'll get to do:

The salary range for this role is $64,000 per year - $75,000 per year.
