Position Summary
The Global Assistant Merchandiser supports the brand's global merchandising strategy across various channels. Responsibilities include executing merchandising plans, overseeing product lifecycle management, conducting market research, and collaborating with design, supply chain, raw materials, marketing, and sales teams. The role requires ensuring information accuracy and timeliness related to seasonal assortments and daily deliverables, working closely with the Merchandiser to lead cross-functional teams throughout the product development calendar to deliver on-brand, timely products that meet margin targets.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Product Lifecycle Management: Assist in managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring a cohesive and compelling product assortment.
  2. Market Analysis: Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer preferences.
  3. Collaboration: Work with design, supply chain, raw materials, marketing, and sales teams to meet market demands and brand standards.
  4. Data Management: Maintain data in the Centric PLM system, ensuring accuracy and updates for seasonal reports and records.
  5. Sample Delivery and Tracking: Support the delivery and organization of SMS and proto samples to ensure timely product development.
  6. Team Support: Support a culture of innovation by collaborating with the merchandising team.
  7. Communication: Communicate clearly and concisely with cross-functional partners regarding assortment updates and strategic pivots.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 0-2+ years in Global Merchandising
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or related field

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data and identify trends.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-team work.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring product quality and brand consistency.
