Job summary
NaphCare is seeking an experienced Assistant Mental Health Director (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) to help lead, direct, and evaluate mental health services at Hillsborough County Jail in Tampa, FL. This full-time role reports to the Mental Health Director and site leadership, and offers a collaborative, technology-supported environment.

Qualifications
- Unrestricted Florida license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)
- CPR/AHA BLS certification
- 3+ years clinical mental health experience
- 2+ years management/correctional healthcare experience preferred
- Knowledge of mental health and co-occurring disorders and discharge planning
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in educational and training activities for mental health care
- Evaluate patients in various settings and document mental health evaluations
- Coordinate admission/discharge, housing changes, seclusions and observation levels
- Collaborate with psychiatric providers and site staff
- Assist with recruiting and development of mental health staff
