Juniata College, an NCAA Division III Institution, invites applications for a 12-month, full-time Assistant Men's & Women's Swim Coach position. Responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach with coaching, recruitment, practice planning, travel, and administrative duties. The role offers a monthly stipend, room, board, and full benefits.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with all facets of the swim program, including recruiting, scouting, team development, and travel.
2. Manage recruitment databases, communications, and prospect evaluations to attract qualified student-athletes.
3. Coordinate team travel logistics such as accommodations and practice schedules.
4. Prepare for meets, assist with practice organization, and support off-season programming.
5. Contribute to team strategy, in-practice coaching, and skill development sessions.
6. Plan and oversee summer lessons and camps.
7. Ensure compliance with NCAA, Juniata College, and conference policies.
8. Participate in departmental administration, events, and committees.
9. Support athletic operations as assigned.
10. Perform other duties as directed by the Athletic Director or Head Coach.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Lifeguard Certification.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and Division III philosophy.
• 1-3 years of collegiate coaching experience preferred.
• NCAA playing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated coaching, recruiting, and management abilities.

Valid driver's license required; college reserves the right to review driving records.
