Responsibilities

The successful candidate willassist the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach in all aspects of operating a competitive NCAA men's lacrosse programand demonstrate a strong commitment to student-athlete development, recruiting, and the mission of collegiateathletics.

Greensboro College is a private liberal arts institution located in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, servingapproximately 1,000 students. The College is a member of the USA South Athletic Conference.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Operations

• Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of managing and operating the men's lacrosse program.
• Develop and implement practice plans, drills, offensive and defensive schemes, and game strategies.
• Assist with opponent scouting, film breakdown, and game preparation.
• Coordinate and help develop youth camps and clinics.
• Assist with gameday and event operations in collaboration with athletic department staff.
• Support the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes.
• Manage the men's lacrosse equipment inventory and distribution.
• Assist with team travel planning and logistics.

Recruiting

• Identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student-athletes
• Travel to high school games, showcases, and tournaments throughout the recruiting calendar.
• Assist with maintaining recruiting databases and coordinating recruiting efforts with the Admissions Office.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with athletic department game management responsibilities during the lacrosse offseason.
• Support the management and growth of the men's lacrosse social media presence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Department

QualificationsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is required
• One to three years of lacrosse coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A genuine desire to build a long-term career in collegiate coaching and athletic
• Demonstrated commitment to the development of student athletes both on and off the field.
