Job summary

Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, seeks an innovative Men’s Wrestling Assistant Coach to assist with supervision, organization, development and implementation of a nationally competitive intercollegiate wrestling program. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least two years of wrestling coaching experience, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Assist with practice and competition day management and activities.
Assist with team planning (travel, budget management, community service, study hall) within institutional budget and policy guidelines.
Assist with all recruiting and roster management operations (scholarships, visits).
Assist with planning and organization of camps and clinics.
Support academic success (APR & GPA) and development of student-athletes.
Represent the university at conferences, regional, state, and national wrestling events.
Manage relationships with stakeholders and ensure NCAA rules compliance.
